1978: Founded as a semiconductor distributor
The history of semi begins in Bettingen, near Basel. By distributing semiconductors and electronic components, the company laid the foundation for its growth.
1996: Early recognition of the importance of digitization
As one of the first providers in the industry, semi embraced digital order processing and launched its own online store.
2013, Samsung accessories distribution
By winning the bid to become the official Samsung accessories distributor for Switzerland, semi strengthened its position in the Swiss consumer electronics market.
2018: Logistics restructured
Through the partnership with ALSO Switzerland, logistics operations were scaled up and the foundation for further growth was laid.
Today, more than just distribution
